Staff shortages, overwork and yet carers are expected to wait until 2028?
The latest NZZ article(https://lnkd.in/d62-Ep7J) on the impending "pencil strike" shows just how dramatic the situation is.
🔸 Carers are demanding a 38-hour week.
🔸 Nobody knows where the money for this is going to come from.
🔸 And even if it did, there are not enough staff to increase the teams.
So what can we do if there is neither enough time nor enough staff available?
👉 We have to give time back to the nursing staff.
At Leitwert AG, we see every day how much potential there is in genuine digitalization:
🔸less documentation work,
🔸less manual recording of vital data,
🔸less administrative idle time,
🔸more security in the process,
🔸more presence with patients.
If working hours are to be reduced and quality increased without deploying more staff, the smart use of technology can be expedient.
Our approach: relief that is available today and not in 2028.
Our automated vital data monitoring(https://lnkd.in/d4mi_gVc) gives nursing staff valuable time back per shift.
